Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any experience?
No experience is required! Our classes are designed for beginners as well as experienced food service professionals. Many of our students are opening a new business or entering the food service industry for the first time and successfully pass the exam.
What happens if I don't pass the exam?
If you do not pass the exam, you are welcome to retake it during any of our scheduled classes. Retesting is available at 11:30 AM or 2:15 PM, and the exam retake fee is $60.00.

Can I host a private class at my business?

What should I bring to class?
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID, as it is required to take the certification exam. We also recommend bringing a notebook for taking notes. Pencils and all testing materials will be provided.
Can I transfer my registration?
